Why are new contacts or changes not shown in mysms?

When you add a new contact or apply contact changes in your stock contact app on your phone, perform a manual sync in the mysms settings on your phone (Sidebar - Cloud Synchronization - Manually Sync). After the sync has completely finished, your new contact or the changes will be displayed in mysms.

If you don’t perform a manual sync, your contacts will be updated in our cloud by the automatic sync which takes place, when you're charging your smartphone.

mysms only displays the contact pics that are directly saved within the Android contact app on your phone (including contact pics saved in your Google account). In case some contact pics are missing, please try to perform a manual sync in the mysms settings on your phone (Sidebar – Cloud Synchronization – Manually sync). After the sync has completely finished, your contact pics should be updated.

Please keep in mind, that we do not sync contact pictures from other third party apps like Facebook.
